Key Levers for Success
To guide our efforts through this new strategic phase, we’ve identified three key levers that will ensure our success over the next five years:
Increase Reach: Relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners will be strengthened through consistent communication, expanding our connection with the broader community. By broadening our geographic reach nationwide, promoting resources, and offering more direct interactions through presentations, trainings, and educational initiatives, we will engage a wider audience and foster stronger connections with both community members and allies.
Expand Advocacy and Education: Trailblazers training for camps, recreational organizations, and workplaces will be expanded with a focus on equity and inclusion. This includes developing intersectional training for the facial difference community and advocating for its inclusion in DEI discussions. We will also create opportunities for skills development through volunteer and committee engagement, while continuing to foster inclusive spaces through education and awareness-building
Enhance Operational Resilience: We will strengthen our organization through diversifying funding streams, increasing donor retention, and forging new partnerships with networks. Developing contingency and succession plans will be an important part of this endeavor.
